The main objective of this research is to study the pre-school children's expression of art

in art activities by looking art the activities that they do. Besides that, the other goal is So

look into the sort of expression and the element that exist. This research includes five

respondents amang the Sri Ccmpaka pre-school children, Institut Perguruan Perils,

Perlis. Base on literature research that have been done, the researcher had classified the

art activities as stated in the sylibus such as picturing, creating design pattern and

conducting shape. This research is making use of the qualitative approach through the

casework which utilized the obeservation and interviewing techniques. The data was

analysised using descriptive interpretation to report what have been observe and to

structure the data into reality of which will enable readers to understand. The finding of

this research pofrayed that pre-school children are very interested in drawing activity.

Their art expressions are potrayed as they start sketching the images in their dra\vings.

The reseach also showed that elements of narrative also appeared in the children's

drew ing. One pedagogical implication that can be extracted from this study is that pre-

school children should be given freedom in their art production as to stimulate creativity

of expressions. The children also should be given moral support and motivation in order

for them to be more creative.
