Abstract: 

This research is carried out to identify acceptance, development of creative ideas and

ability to use Adobe Illustrator among students who do not have Visual Art Education

background.

Qualitative research method has been used to analyze the data. This analysis

shows that big portion of the respondence receive well the use of Adobe Illustrator. The

respondence also feels that with the use of Adobe Illustrator, the idea development can be

further improved. This analysis also shows that the respondence is able to use Adobe

Illustrator for produce creative graphic artwork.

Collection of data is carried out by observation, questionnaire, face to face

interview, audio-visual recording, video recording and documentations. Besides that the

researcher acts as the main instrument. Tfi.is research is carried out on 11 students who

have no Visual Art Education background. This research is earned out in Kolej

Teknologi Cosmopoint Cawangan Kuantan, Pahang.

As a whole, from the. research carried out it has been found the students who have

no Visual Art Education background can also produce creative graphic artwork. Quality

of their products is on par with students who have basic Imowledge in Visual Art

Education.
