Abstract: 

A study case has been done among form four students of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (LKTP)

Kampung Sertik, Karak Pahang in the making of sculpture. This qualitative study case is aiming

to observe and identify students Creative and Critis Thinking Skill (Kemahiran Berfikir Kreatif

dan ICritis KBKK) in making sculpture. This study case is focusing on the process that student

have gone through where teaching and learning activity took place, which how they applied the

skills in Creative and Critis Thinking Skill. They need to apply the skill in other to expend their

creativity in making sculpture as well as how it effect the work.

While doing this study case, a few approaches have taken place such as

observation, interview, visual recording and analysis of students work. Observation have

been done forward a visual art teacher and his 20 students in making sculpture and

learning process. This visual art (fine art) teaching and learning process took place for 13

periods. At the end of learning process, students did group work producing a sculpture.

As a result from the study case that has been done, it proved that skill in Creative and

Critis Thinking Skill are very applicable in visual art teaching and learning, especially

when thinking skill is needed in producing the outcome.
