Abstract: 

The pace of technology, communication and information has become an evolution in

education. Information technology that provides an environment and a variety of

functions have influenced the pattern of teaching and learning. Music education cannot

be separated from computing technology. The use of computers in teaching and

learning in music education with the use of appropriate software is seen as a method to

enhance the quality of teaching more effectively. Product development of teaching and

learning of musical instruments used in Dikir Barat is also produced to fulfill the step

towards the development of technology in local traditional music. This project is a

Dikir Barat musical instrument educational software development for teachers and

students that can be accessed through self learning with the aid of computer.
