Abstract: 

Pendidikan Seni Visual (PSV) is subject offered in every school throughout Malaysia.

This subject has increasingly become more important as it is an appreciative skill in

the public workforce. This study look into Parental involvement in the development

of interactive education for Pendidikan Seni Visual (PSV) at SMK Seri Am;.m.

Qualitative approach is taken for this study. This approach is coincided suitable

because it answers the problem statement. This approach is seen to be humanistic in

trying to understand and explain the problem statement. Thus the focus is on (he

parent of the Form Four students of the said school in Kotu Tinggi. Johor. The study

involved 10 respondents taken at random. Data collection was done trough interviews.

observation, audio / visual recording and documentation. The study also took into a

count the interior decorations and surroundings, time span and financial this positions,

compete facilities and community involvement. The result of this study shows that

parents do play an important role at SMK Seri Arnan in ensuring their children's

potential development for the subject of PSV.  It was noted that the school's

management and local community also played a role in the subject development. The

result of this study, is expected to be beneficial to the school and local administration

in the planning an development of visual art education (PSV).
